We believe children should be inspired and have fun while engaging in an interactive exploration of their faith.
Our Christian Education program teaches children the basics of Christian belief in order to help them "make good choices.” Emphasis is placed on God’s love, forgiveness and support in difficult times so that children understand they are important to God. Our program teaches that Christians are responsible for their actions, and that they should strive to live by Christ’s teachings.
You are welcome here! We welcome all who want to thank God, as well as those who have doubts or questions. We welcome people of all faith backgrounds and family configurations.

Danielle Dallis of North Falmouth is a Cephalopod Culture Operations Specialist at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, meaning that she maintains octopuses, squid and cuttlefish and works on relevant research related to the cephalopod breeding program. She mentors undergraduates at the MBL and serves as an experienced resource for volunteers and interns. She will keep her current job as she takes on this new position with us. Succeeding in multiple jobs at the same time is nothing new to her.
Danielle has also worked as a Teaching Assistant and a Long-term Substitute in the Barnstable Public Schools, and as an Intern Coordinator at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marine Biology from the Maine Maritime Academy (2006) and a Master of Science in Environmental Policy, which she earned in 2018. Her life's journey includes her baptism in the United Methodist Church, an upbringing and education in the Roman Catholic Church, attendance in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, helping with bake sales at the Greek Orthodox Church, and now to us.
Welcome to the First Congregational Church, Danielle. We are so happy you have joined us.
FCC Kids Sunday morning program begins the Sunday after Labor Day and continues through Memorial Day Weekend. Our program is not held on Falmouth Public School vacation weeks or during the summer months. Childcare is available from September through June.
Children are welcomed in their classrooms beginning at 9:45 and remain there for the entire service. Youngsters gather together for Bible stories, songs, hand-signing, art and lots of interactive games to create a lively learning atmosphere.
Youth Groups meet during the school year and are led by Pastor Jonathan. Kids are encouraged to bring a friend
(or two) for fellowship and fun!
This 20-year outreach project to the community offers free children's clothing on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon.
